COVILIARTE è stata costituita nel 2000 per diffondere la conoscenza dell'opera di Gino Covili.
Dal 2005, con la scomparsa dell'artista, conserva e gestisce la collezione della famiglia Covili, cura l'archivio generale della sua opera, allestisce e coordina l'organizzazione di mostre e manifestazioni presso gallerie, musei ed istituzioni culturali, in Italia ed all'estero.
